I actually think going for it there for Louisville isn't THAT bad because they still figure field goals won't win this one, but......chance to be up two possessions would've been big again for the Cards.

I’m a huge Clawson fan, but the way we ended that first half is indefensible. You go for the score, not the other way around. Also, our O is a lot better than our D so why not trust them to make a play?

The defense has allowed 4 first downs and 0 points since Louisville scored early in the 2nd quarter.
 
Satterfield on the hot seat in Sept. Will be again in Nov. after this loss. Hafley on the sizzling seat now ... complete dishonor to lose to UCONN.

this is technically true, but oversimplifying things. (there are two teams trying to win).

when opposing defenses have been balanced (eg single safety) we’ve been able to go over the top and win. but we have struggled mightily when we go against light boxes and have to force the pass game
