Fortunately we've played well in the ACC Tourney the past 15 years.I think we have to make the quarters to get in either by being top 4 or winning on Wednesday.
Fell down this rabbit hole, which I recall doing every single year in March but just for "fun":Fortunately we've played well in the ACC Tourney the past 15 years.
Yeah. We’ve bailed out in or before the round of 16 for 13 straight years - and the conference has never had 16 teams. Also, if you finish in the top 4 of the ACC regular season you automatically make the quarters!
Agreed, definitely a risk. I like that we have several good 3 pt shooters though. Helps mitigate one guy being cold. We will certainly have some games where we just cannot get one though.Yeah the one thing that makes me anxious overall about being a "good three point shooting" team is that generally means more shots from outside where an off game can be frustrating/keep things closer than they should be (or be a loss). Guess it is just the typical "live by the 3 die by the 3" situation.
Forbes is the opposite of the last decade, though. He has more resting grit and determination than Bzz and Manning ever showed at their best moments. That's a lot of hubris considering the last decade
Wake also has several guys who can get buckets at the rim if the threes won't fall. Cam and Marsh for two.Agreed, definitely a risk. I like that we have several good 3 pt shooters though. Helps mitigate one guy being cold. We will certainly have some games where we just cannot get one though.
I couldn’t tell you who is in the NFL playoffs or what sport the Sony Open is so I’m all tuned in here.I just realized we're opposite NFL and the Sony Open tonight.
It literally could be just us "weirdos" on here watching tonight's game. Oh, and a handful from the BC board.
I never feel good about games we “should” win that aren’t home games.
We may actually get to the Wake game on time and not be forced to watch the end of the OK St/Baylor slopfest due to technical difficultiesAlready very little chance that our game actually begins on ESPN2.
