I feel better about Keller gaining 15 pounds and learning to effectively use his size on defense than I do about Marsh becoming more mobile and athletic. Some things are more easily learned than others.
 
Marsh may have gained too much mothood weight while in concussion protocol. And still hasn't fully reworked it.
 
In terms of minutes/roles for next year...

I think Cam, Damari (if healthy), Bobi, and Carr will all get 25+ mpg.
Boopie & Jao ideally combine for 40+ mpg (though I'm not sure how much we would play them together).
No idea about the freshmen... Feels like Parker will get some minutes based on shooting alone. MMM, if ready, could be helpful in keeping Carr fresh.
Have to assume Keller & Marsh both improve. They have very different games... So if kind of depends on how Forbes wants to go. Marsh was clearly ahead of Keller last year, but that may not be the case next year.

So yeah, we need an inside presence to play defense and rebound.

And then give me BPA.
 
Battle had strong 2022 season, but Battle was a reason why Minnesota was almost L'ville bad in 2023 (9-22; 2-17 - KP #216). Battle's O rating was 88.9 last year; among WF players only Lucas Taylor had an O rating that low). Battle did score 31 in a loss to Illinois this year. Last year, he scored 39 against MD. Battle takes a lot of shots.

obviously i have not seen him play, but i am not sure where a 6'7 stretch PF (with meh shooting %), light rebounding and defense guy would fit on this team. having said that, he has been playing 35 mpg and as creamygoodness said, maybe less minutes would help. he also has a 1/2 ast/to ratio, so i don't see him at the 3.
 
Wake Forest always calls.

But Wake Forest doesn't always really have an interest.

There is nothing here, IMO.
 
Coach said we needed to get longer on the wing, so this would do the trick. Was really good his first 3 seasons and then he and the Gophers fell off a cliff this year. Looks like a solid candidate for 20+ mins off the bench
 
Boopie has 130K instagram followers, which is more than everybody on the current roster combined

that's actually just a guess, I haven't fact checked that.
