I had a Motorola flip phone when I was junior/senior in HS after I started driving. Thought it was the most cutting edge technology possible with the caller ID on the outside and capacity for 10 (!) saved contacts.

Same. I don't remember ever using it but it was there for emergencies. Within a short period of time, we went from a bag phone for emergenices to people being on their phone while driving to everyone getting directions on their phone.

my public high school had several deans who were in charge of discipline. then a principal and a couple of vice principals.

at the time that is what people would refer to as an "innercity" school.

I have a UPS package that was shipped on the 28th, no delivery date was ever given (still waiting to update it says) and last time it was scanned was on 5/1 in CA, not far from the same place it shipped from. WTF.

I went to an Academy and look at the heights it has brought me to. I am a titan of industry.

This brings up a question about something that happened at work today. If I said Andover in terms of a school, do any of y'all know what that means?

I went to one of the southern all boys prep schools so yes I've heard of andover
