Public all the way. I think I knew one family growing up that went to private school (Cary Academy) bc their parents worked for SAS and there was some link/discount IIRC. Then I went to wake and that was pretty different.

There are a ton of private schools in Charlotte. Guessing they were all founded around the same time for the same unstated reason. Couldn’t imagine paying for my kids to go to one, I am far too cheap for that.
 
just kinda figured it was for parents looking to speed up getting kids out the house

Can’t out my guy because his business would be known to anyone near the Winston area but he gives a shitton more than DR.

My first two weeks of 7th grade, mom sent me to school in calf-high tube socks, jean shorts, and crazy cat sweaters. Trial by fire, brother.
 
I didn’t know anyone in a private school until I was like 13, and even then it wasn’t a super wealthy thing, it was their parents were Uber Christian conservative and didn’t want them exposed to sex/drugs and whatnot.
