looks like they will be able to pitch their ace (klecker) on 4 days rest after throwing 87 pitches on friday.

would be amazing if they can win tomorrow and then force an elimination game between the gators friday starter (sproat) and their #2 guy (stoutenborough) on three days rest after throwing 64 pitches sunday.

It’s actually a little sad. He’s at that stage of his life where most everyone he knows has grown and developed and built meaningful relationships in their lives to share in these moments. DR overpays for drinks at hotel bars going back to empty rooms. It’s so critically important to him that people more successful than him get praise because his job and wealth are all he has, and if someone with more success isn’t a hero, what the fuck is he?

I’m shocked there is no outpouring of love from the Wake Forest community for David Couch.

The man build an empire in Greensboro and contributed a bunch of it to his beloved Wake baseball program.

Winning in college sports is only about money — not Wellman, not coaching, not even John Currie. You must have the proper home venue and cutting edge facilities.

Couch has proven once again that the wins and losses are solely the result of alums commitment to the program. And he quietly does it. He should be universally praised openly by the Wake community.
