Official 2022-23 NBA Offseason - Aces win WNBA Finals; Preseason; NBA Fantasy League last call

I think trading Poole paves the way for Draymond in terms on money and fit. Plus I don’t think the Warriors get older without committing to running it back.
Yup, they need Draymond if they want to contend. And with CP3, he can be a 3rd guard who you just play 20 minutes a game in the regular season. The other interesting thing to watch with them is Thompson. His play seemed to drop off a bit this past year.

Edited to add I like the fit with the Warriors over the Lakers where I just don't trust AD to show up on a consistent basis (cue Chuck and Shaq laughing for 2:00 straight at his being taken to the locker room in a wheel chair). And after 3 trades, Washington now has a guy who can score over 15 ppg.

If I'm Dunleavy, I try to bring in a veteran wing who can be a 3rd or 4th scorer with any lineup and a veteran big who can either shoot or provide some more size against Jokic and other WC bigs.

As a lifelong CP3 fan this fucking sucks. He wouldn't even get a ring in my personal recordbook if he GSW wins

so CP3 is gonna come off the bench?
That’s a great question. I don’t know, but I do know his minutes will finally go down, and I am very happy about that.

I guess the best PG Curry has ever played with is Shaun Livingston? The Curry CP3 dynamic will be really interesting.

I don't see the Warriors moving away from Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Draymond/Looney. That's still a very good starting lineup.

start curry and stagger thompson's minutes with CP and curry and close the game based on matchups

cp3 just has to fill 25 minutes per game

even last year he played in the mid 30s for the suns

The 2030 1st the Warriors are sending to the Wizards is top 20 protected.

So the Wizards traded Beal and Porzingis and the highest possible pick they got is #21 in 7 years.

The Suns don't control any of their draft picks until 2031. Of course, they can start packing 2031 picks next offseason. I'm sure they'll pull off some trades to restock some picks as well.

Wouldn’t be shocked if Dunleavy gives up on Kuminga and Moody and starts another soft rebuild. Bold predictions: The Warriors either trade one of them and change to move up to #11 or the Warriors trade one of them for a protected future pick. I’d be cool with the Spurs trading that protected Hornets 2024 pick for Kuminga.

I also think Poole could be a 25+ scorer for the Wiz. He and Jones are going to show out for a bad team.

The Wiz got 6 seconds and 4 pick swaps in the Beal deal.
