Recommend good stuff you've seen on Netflix streaming

i'm now on Season 6 of outlander. 3 and 4 were definitely weaker. 5 started getting better....

I enjoyed Suits, but when it came out. For me it was good as a once a week show. Can't imagine watching in bulk
Season 7 of Outlander awaits out there. Or at least the first half. "Season 7" is being released in two sections. First 8 episodes are out. 8 more will be aired sometime in 2024.

A 10 episode final sesson, "Season 8" is being made.

With that release schedule, I don't know why they didn't call the second half of season 7 "Season 8" and the final season "Season 9." But nobody asked me.

Yeah I’ve been on Season 7. So far so good.

Could it be for book alignment?

According to my wife, that’s why.

Windy, you should put Outlander fan in your online dating bios.

Peacock has 10 episodes of Twisted Metal, the first one is free and is the only one I've watched. I thought it was alright. It's an easy game to adapt - drive around and shoot things. I really don't want to sub to another service but I dunno, they have a few series I wouldn't mind watching (e.g. Mrs. Davis and Resident Alien) so maybe I'll sub for a couple of months and quit.

You should also watch Poker Face.

Wrapped up S2 of Sweet Tooth last night, coming back for a final season at some point, but the family really enjoyed it.

Looks like nothing is going to happen for a month or so at the earliest. This is a dead time in Hollywood. Both sides are dug in. The studios have a backlog to tide them over. Writers and actors are trying to prevent changes to the industry that could destroy their professions.

Just started Season 2 of Good Omens. Really glad we re-watched Season 1 last month in anticipation of S2. Such a fun show.

Winning Time is back on Max.

not a streaming show, but I am officially obsessed with watching the various videos from the Montgomery riverboat brawl aka Fade in the water. Hol-lee-crap... The only thing better than watching those rednecks get their ass beat is all the jokes on Black Twitter.... Tell me I'm not the only one who has analyzed those videos like the zapruder film.

between those and the Tim Anderson knockout punch I break them down like they are NFL All-22's.

The Johnny Manziel documentary on Netflix is very good.
He was an unbelievably talented college player and a complete bust as a pro-due mainly to his own unwillingness to take the job seriously.

The story of how easily he made cash for signing autographs while easily fooling the NCAA is amusing, especially now that players can do that. The NCAA enforcers come off looking like idiots both for their stupid rules and their ineptness in enforcing them.

He seems to have mellowed somewhat but someone with his complete lack of self discipline is always in danger of relapsing.

I also feel like the media was extremely lax that year when Johnny Football and Manti Te’o were 1 and 2 in Heisman list and we didn’t get any of those scandals when they were happening.
