I'm just glad I have another team to root for today.

Wake battled, it didn't work out and that sucks, but that's no excuse for basically dogging your own team and counting them out 5 minutes into the second half as some did, or when it was a tie game.

There must be some kind of mass psychological disorder caused by attending Wake and supporting their football team or something. You're not allowed to be a positive fan, you're not allowed ot be a fan at all unless you attended the school or are from NC (I was told backchannel by a mod that I'm a "non-fan" as if someone can decide that for me).

Seriously, this guy doesn't get it. It's not like this is the first time this has happened. It happens every game every year. It's practically a script you could read along to. That is incredibly damaging to a fan's psyche. It's like the sport version of water torture.
 
Defensively, I liked to know who is supposed to cover the TE. The strong safety, an outside linebacker, a nickle back, or nobody? It seems like every game, the other team's TE is killing us.

Also, whatever happened to 'We Finish'? It's looks more like 'We Choke' to me.

Until that drive, Kyle Wilbur had shut him down. He had maybe 1 catch before that drive. He is also one of the best TE's in CFB. Our gameplan for him was exceptional, but we deviated from that with prevent D in the end.

If you don't know, now you know. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS ALL THE FUCKING TIME.
 
We have no one who will step up and make big plays. Whether it is the offense or the defense of the kicker. Remember 2006, blocked FG in the Duke game, Int in the UNC end zone to win the game-- this year we shoot ourselves in the foot and have no one who will step up and make a play. Newman could have won it, the OL could have won it or the defense could have made a play, we could have blocked the FG and you knew none of it was going to happen. Be lucky to make it to any bowl!
