When I was recommending 2023 horror films I don’t think I mentioned how extremely fucked that Malum is

I enjoyed Malum, but I think I actually liked Last Shift more. The bigger budget stripped away some of the trashy charm of the original, imo, so I get the Evil Dead comparisons in the sense of how the franchise was rebooted, but the feel just wasn't totally there for me.
