Having not grown up around it this album was my first real exposure to bluegrass and it totally changed whatever perception I had of the genre.

Tell it to Me kicking off the album with "well I'm riding down fifth street, I'm coming down main, I tried to bum a nickel for to buy cocaine" is a strong ass opening.

Fully agree.

Incidentally, they just put the Atmos mix of DSOTM out on Blu Ray for a reasonable price. Animals remixed in 5.1 and in stereo came out last year in the same format.

So I went down the rabbit hole on different versions of "Ghost" (Phish) today. So far I've listened to "Ghost" from the following shows:

12/11/97 (My favorite so far)

8/16/99

I've picked out some songs from each of those shows as well to mix it up a little bit.
