I saw a story on this the other day. The professor had a valid point.

Even as recently as TWENTY years ago, people had to read or go to libraries to learn things. By doing so we would actually learn the data.

Today with Altavista, Bing, and ASKJEEVES, etc., people realize the information is at their fingertips 24/7. They don't need to TRULY learn it.

What say you?

Thx

Advice? Is it pretty amazing?
it was fun!

definitely a novelty thing for me and there was an element of like "okay, i get the picture on this" after an hour or so, but people got into it, there was a trump villain character at the height of his anti-mexican rhetoric, and the show is fun

i'd defs do it once and doubt i'd do it again

i generally prefer the fresh fasnachts the local mennonite bakery makes every friday

My invention that I want to make millions on is a contact lens that connects to the internet so you can have that at your fingertip (eyeball?) at all times.

Basically the failed Google Glass, but in contact form.

It's def worth seeing. It's way campier than pro wrestling in the U.S. and just an all around good time.

Juice was kind of alluding to this, but the shows are pretty long so just be prepared for that.

You should be able to buy tickets online, but the shows aren't going to sell out and you can always swing by ahead of time and grab some tickets. They're cheap and the good seats are worth it. Closer is better to take in the absurdity of the show. The last time we went I tried to buy tix ahead of time online while I was still in the U.S. and my card got flagged for fraud, so that's something that can happen.

Definitely plan on getting there a bit early to check out all of the street vendors around the arena. You can do a pretty sweet street food dinner and grab a mask to really get into the spirit.

just beam that porn directly to brain

Pet peeve of mine. When someone you follow on Twitter RTs a bunch of people that QT their tweet with nothing added other than a LOL or emojis or something. So you end up just seeing the original tweet a ton of times. I know they are just farming #engagement but seems like the algorithm could filter those out.

seems like you have the owner confused with someone who gives a shit

i remember getting huge micheladas in the arena
The first time I went I bought some beer at my seat and it was like 30 pesos or something, but I was shocked when the lady cracked open two victorias and dumped them in a cup. You can get loaded for cheap at these things.

my iphone contacts list has over 1,000 "suggested contacts" that pop up every time i try to look up a phone number; all of them are tied to some email address that i have emailed over the last decade but don't have as actual contacts. very irritating

Saw an ad the other day for permanent contacts which seems like a not good idea?

I forwarded like 10 emails to a client instead of a co-worker last week because Outlook chose the wrong email that started "esc...." - so that was fun to reach back out and say disregard.

It seems like every day I get the same message from Daycare:

Hello Parent, we wanted to let you know that one twin has injured the other in some form or fashion. This happened while the class was discussing harmony/acceptance/not biting/ not cutting in line/generally happy subjects. Comfort was provided then they went right back to roughhousing with each other. We will monitor.
