2023 Carolina Panthers thread - HOF Julius Peppers

Usually between the Deacs and Panthers there’s at least one team that’s enjoyable to watch on weekends. This year?
 
panthers are terrible but they make up for by being completely boring. not sure they have a single OL or WR who would start on another NFL team.

I get this sentiment but wouldn’t fire anyone else until Fitterer is fired into the sun. This has to be one of the worst rosters in NFL history. AWFUL offensive line, terrible receivers, non-existent tight ends and mediocre (at best) defense.
I’m OK with firing Reich 5 minutes after firing Fitterer, but he has to go first.
 
Not going to search and shame them (hell I may have been one of them) but I feel like there were some posters that were really high on our WR room going into the season.
 
I’m just not interested in trying to evaluate a rookie NFL QB playing behind one of the worst OLs in the NFL.

Maybe Bryce is good, maybe he’s terrible. I think it’s fair to say he isn’t elite enough to transform a bad offense into a good one, but anything else in the range of outcomes seems reasonably possible still.

I thought our WR was not good, but wouldn't be the worst in the league

Every game that goes by I quietly compare Young to Stroud…I think you know how this is going. Missing on the #1 pick, while giving a lot, is going to kill us for years. Sad…

I thought Hurst and Chark were going to be decent contributors, and I was excited about drafting Mingo. I thought the Thielen deal was bad because he’s older and it’s a 4(?) year contract, but he has earned it this season.

It's more fun to bump the ones that call our O-Line a strength and freaked out on me for being concerned over preseason performances.

There is a reason that Alabama has been playing football at a high level for 100 years and Joe Namath and arguably Tua are the only two decent NFL QBs it has ever produced. I wonder who could have predicted that.

The longer Tepper waits to clean house the worse this will get. Fire Fitt and Reich today so at least he can get an early crack at their replacements. Not that he can be trusted to hire anyone competent. He needs to hire a search firm like colleges sometimes do. Or at least pay for the highest level Indeed subscription this time.
