I too am single parenting this week, but luckily our box has a pretty kickass kids room and a lot of the parents bring their kids so I don't have to miss any workouts. As far as getting them ready and out the door in the morning, somehow I'm never late when my wife isn't there. The only real issue is that they want Ramen or scrambled eggs for dinner every night, and they both have to sleep in my bed when their mother is gone.

I have one Patagonia quarter zip fleece that I got on a "pro-deal" when working in Hawaii for the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project in 2000. Patagonia wanted to be able to claim that they were "working to support endangered species" and we wanted inexpensive field gear so it worked out. I still wear it with pride, but if looks pretty worn out.
 
I am currently wearing a burnt orange quarter zip.
 
yeah if you include golf quarter zips and sweater quarter zips, i'm probably at a dozen
