WF Game 9: NJ Institute of Technology - 8 pm Saturday ACCN

Hypothetical question: if we won a game like this by like 75 would we skyrocket up the computer rankings?

from my understanding: almost assuredly not. scoring margin matters but way less than just winning against good teams.

imo it’s a bit of a bogeyman excuse — esp for us, pretty sure the scoring margin part of the metrics equation has actually benefited us the past two seasons.

8:00 pm December game basically a 10:00 pm start

Awesome, we’re going to have like a 6-8 point lead at half against a team we should be like up 20.

I think it probably does matter a decent amount. I still can't figure out what the TVI (winning against good teams) boost is but I don't think it's anymore than like 20-25% of the formula stacked on top of the major one (adjusted efficiency). I could be wrong though because, again, I have no idea what the TVI contirbution is.
