Official 2023 College Football Thread: Michigan Recognized as National Champions of Cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My point was that information came out during an investigation. I'm not sure what new information you expected to see after they got caught.

We don't even know if the NCAA investigation has any new information. We do know the NCAA is slow even if they have all the information they need to make simple decisions.
Jeez man. Lol.

So one investigation had regular leaks. Another investigation has had zero leaks. That's the point PH. The leaks from one investigation were part of a campaign to damage Michigan.

Correct - you have no idea whether the NCAA has more information because nothing has leaked.

Michigan cheated. Of course there was "campaign" to damage them. That's what happens to people who break the rules.

I feel like you're trolling me. I said a bunch of really obvious stuff and you're so triggered by it.

Thank you for acknowledging that one investigation involved a campaign of leaks to damage Michigan.

I’m so confused. The B1G has very little investigatory ability and relied primarily on information provided by the NCAA. The “leaks” came out as the media (which is disproportionally riddled with Michigan grads) obtained information, not as part of some sort of conspiracy effort by the B1G or member schools. If the B1G had any real teeth, they would have made Michigan ineligible for the conference championship.

Michigan fans blaming anyone but their own cheating coaches continues to be 1940s Germany level type groupthink.

Totally forgot about the Michigan illegal Covid recruiting/coaching and Harbaugh cover-up amid the sign stealing scandal. Four level 2 violations and one level 1. Speculation that it would entail another 6 game suspension for Harbaugh (unclear if the self-imposed 3 game suspension would apply towards it). Meanwhile, Michigan is still trying to extend him.

It's interesting, because if they got hit like this for something that honestly doesn't seem too bad at all, I'm assuming the NCAA is going to fully skull-drag them for the blatant sign stealing cheating.
Death penalty (at least for Harbaugh). Dude is the slimiest of cheating slimeballs.

I never realized that Michigan fans were deep in the victimhood game.

Fucking whiners. Everyone is out to get them. Put them and UNC on a boat to nowhere.

Odd tidbit from the ESPN article:

According to sources, Florida State officials and lawyers have gone to the ACC's office at least a half-dozen times to dissect and analyze the legal language in the league's grant of rights. They are one of many ACC programs that have done so, as copies are not permitted outside league offices.

yeah I was wondering about that. this time !

maybe they shoulda set up some heist when the ACC was moving offices

Seems like a pretty big deal to sign an allegedly iron clad contract that you can’t even keep a copy of.

Though I guess if it really is iron clad, there’s not much you really need a copy for.

Yeah, does seem very weird. Didn't they get a DocuSign confirmation with the executed document?
