easily stuffing. though we don't actually stuff our turkey, so it's just dressing.

no option for 'everything' ?

i love absolutely everything about thanksgiving. greatest day of the year IMO. i voted turkey for the sake of the the pole.

the answer is sandwich the next day complete with cold stuffing and mash, and congealed gravy in the place of mayo. you're welcome.

moon where in the atl is that place?

It's at the Intercontinental in Buckhead. And it's pretty awesome.

Also, we always have a squash casserole that is amazing and my favorite, but I went stuffing from the options given.

I said gravy, because I end up putting it on the turkey, the potatoes and the stuffing... and sometimes I dip the rolls in it. I don't eat it by itself, but it makes everything else better.

I voted stuffing (although we don't stuff, so really dressing) but I make a cranberry chutney that is pretty darn good if I say so myself, and it's probably my real favorite thing.

my brother is a damn fine chef and always starts thanksgiving with a butternut squash soup. he also makes a sausage and oyster dressing that is the greatest thing ever. thanksgiving is my favorite holiday by far.

Way cool; does your brother consider traveling?

Voted rolls cause we make mad bread. However, the last few years we've done steak and ribs instead of turkey, and I prefer it. I like all sorts of sides, but especially veggies of all kinds, like stuffed shrooms, fried okra, collard greens, creamed corn, that sort of thing.

i said stuffing, and I meant stuffing. the stuff that comes out of the bird. nice and moist, even better w/ some gravy on top...

Thanksgiving is my favorite and I am pretty sad about missing the family meal this year, but I think I'm going to make something awesome in the crock pot so we can go ski all day and come home to awesome food.

Wow so many good choices. It's definitely between pies and green bean casserole for me. Macaroni would be in the running if my family normally served it for the big meal.

While not a traditional thanksgiving food, our family always has a risotto with collards dish that is amazing. So that + the sweet potato/pecan casserole would be my favorites
