8yo is reading them right now. She's enjoying it. She also brought home a book on terrifying mysteries and supernatural occurrences from the public library on my watch the other day and started talking to my wife about Lizzie Borden and for a couple of hours I was worried that my own murder was gonna end up in a later edition.

I did suggest this book to my wife though, based on board's recommendation and knowing that she enjoyed Poisonwood Bible. And she definitely enjoyed it. She now realizes that all my good ideas come from the internet.
