CT 2024.2: Windy opines on exes

My mom is one of nine, so I have 20+ first cousins, some I have never met in person. There are a couple that aren't full on "bring your guns to church !!!" types that I don't mind being around, but I can only hold a conversation for so long about skinning a squirrel or who is pregnant again.

I only have two cousins total - one died from cancer in her 30's, and her brother is god knows where with a drug problem.

I do sincerely wonder is there like an income level where you stop enjoying roller coasters and water slides? I always notice a class division element to discussion of amusement parks and cruise ships etc. Seems like it would be pretty shitty to be too wealthy to enjoy crowded amusement parks, but not wealthy enough to visit them privately.

No first cousins. My mom was an only child and my dad's sister had no children.

I lived there from 1st to 7th grade. Would've gone to Lassiter HS if I stayed there. So, North Cobb close to the Cherokee Co. border.

I feel like I have the same bias in reverse for gambling/Vegas trips. Gambling as an amusement worthy of an entire vacation just blows my mind, it seems miserable and pointless. I honestly don’t understand the draw of sports gambling or the lottery either.

Yeah Wake lost in miserable fashion lost night and today has been a stupid work day, but I just set a new personal best for the highest rating of someone I beat in chess, so things are turning around now!
