Steve Forbes credibility watch

I really am fuming over the ncaa's refusal to classify the games at the Joel as road games. Terrible atmosphere and nearly impossible to win there. Tuesday loses should get nerfed as well.

I can’t blame a Wake fan for not recognizing the season based on when the tournament is. It’s pretty irrelevant to our seasons.
 
Also, for the record, I've tried but I fail to understand the viewpoint that Forbes should be removed as coach, even if we somehow don't make the tournament this year.

College basketball has changed in the last few years and, I think, fortunately for us, it has changed towards a system that happens to be our coach's strength. Identifying underutilized talent and bringing them in via the portal. Sure it is risky, but the days of recruiting a top class and them staying together for 4...hell, 3 years together are long gone. Players will transfer and as a result recruiting from HS isn't nearly as important as it was even 10 years ago.

Forbes has shown a true propensity to identify underutilized talent from other college programs and bring them into the fold and gel them with players currently on the roster. This is the new 'recruiting' in college these days. Squad build year to year. And Forbes seems to be really, really solid at that.

I don't want him going anywhere because the level of player he brings in is just going to continue to go up and up as he has our program rising from the ashes of the lost decade.
