I'm not saying that I wouldn't have sent out my kicker there but I get it from Campbell's perspective, I really do.

Hindsight is 20/20 and all that, but at the time I didn't think it was a crazy decision. Through that decision he told his team that he had faith in them. It didn't end up working out, obviously, but I just can't find fault with it. If the pass is caught and they convert there then everything is gravy.

Results oriented analysis is sometimes overly harsh.

TBH, I don’t care either way. I’m kinda pulling for the Lions because they deserve a good year. But, I won’t be upset either way.

As long as the Chiefs don’t win.

Just like there is situational game calls there are situational season game calls. You are one game from SB dominating a game with mo and have a chance to keep a 3 score game and keep mo and pressure on niners In most important game of lions history. You do not do what you might have done all year in regular season games in this one. Going to cost them a SB.
 
Dan Campbell really passed on kicking a 47 yard FG to tie.

But I bet you all don't agree with that decision because the pass wasn't close.

Now the Niners can make it a two score game with under 3 or 4 minutes to go.

The first one was the right call. Guy dropped the ball

Second one I would not have done. But at same time Campbell has done this all year. It’s what got them here
