Wake-NC Central Gamethread

Is Chennault really as bad as he looks? Give Fields the bulk of the time.

We are pressing now (not the defensive kind). Obviously frustrated.

hmmm, goaltending on a dunk?

Pretty sad reading all of the positive comments in a tie game with North Carolina Central.

chill is very high on tony. seems to think the team runs much more smoothly with TC on the floor.

Hopefully we'll have a better 2nd half. I will say for all the talk about Sutton, Willis is no joke for Central. He could play a lot of places.

Central is good - Willis is really good. Sutton and the other big guy is good.

Block out !

They lost to Charlotte by 16 and Wagner. Lets not overdo the praise.

I'm confident we would lose to Charlotte. Can't say I know much about Wagner, although I think Wagner handily beat Princeton who pushed NC State to the brink.

If we lose this, it'll be another Wake record for [Redacted].

Rebounds 19-11 NCCU
FT's
NCCU 7-8
WFU 3-6

We should feel pretty good to be tied getting out-manned like that.

Told y'all. Willis was a top recruit out of the ATL in 2008. 4-star prospect, 14th ranked SF. This is still NC Central, but it's a different NC Central. Much better than Georgia Southern, at least.

That being said, Tony's all over the place. They're going to have to figure out how to make the game slow down for him or else he's going to start sitting... I don't even know if it's an issue of pace or if he's just not that talented. Fields may be our starting PG, or *shudder* CJ, before it's all said and done.

And Carson... It's tough to teach players, particularly big men, to care. Dude's mobile and 6'11 and he's playing like this against NC Central? He better toughen up come January...

I like some parts of this game and some players are putting forth consistent effort (whattup, Nikita). But, I have to same, I'm quite disappointed with both Tony and Carson. Good lord, any effort would be nice.
