My daughter has decided to go there in the fall. She hasn't heard from Wake yet.
 
We borrowed my MIL's car while my daughter was getting her wheel replaced from hitting a pothole. We had nowhere to put the borrowed car other than the front yard. While we were on vacation, the ground thawed. My daughter got in the car to return it and promptly got the car stuck in mud up to its undercarriage trying to get it onto the driveway. There is now a Toyota Camry mired in muck directly in front of my house. Joy.

We did a 1-2 combo of Greensboro science museum and the NC Zoo over a weekend last spring. All for free thanks to our WNC Nature Center membership (p sure just paying admission to both of those would've been more than our membership cost).
 
Trying to explain to my mom that she probably shouldn’t “save this Thai curry for dinner” by letting it sit at room temperature for 4 hours until dinner time
