NIT 2024: Next in a Long Line of Basketball Disappointments

I managed to forget the game was on, which… NIT. But glad to see we are winning.

I'm sure I'm the last person to notice this but....

....when did we return to having TV announcers courtside? I know for a number of years they were not and it always looked stupid.

You're describing basically every D1 athlete in basketball. Not all 13 scholarship players are going to contribute. If he provides a big body in practice to help Efton, a bucket here and there and a couple minutes a game as an unranked recruit, then I'd say that's a win.

Meh. I get the joke. But having watched the first half, this is still a team that wants to play. At the end of the day, it is what is it is. I am watching this on my laptop while my kids watch YouTube. I'll watch Wake for better or worse, more often the latter, but it is what it is...

This season has been the first in a while ... maybe before my time on the beat (first season was 2017-18).
 
Enough with the unranked recruit…only reason is because he is not American. Not the same thing that you are describing, disingenuous.

I really wasn’t joking. I sat down to watch masters of the air and apple told me we were playing. But glad to hear the reports of playing had.

Went on a campus tour a with my son a few years back. It’s one of the most hillbilly places I have ever been and that says a lot.
