I spent a month working in the ER at the Lumberton hospital decades ago as a student.

Running joke was it seemed on Friday and Saturday night that a number of local folks would find an excuse to hang out for a while in the ER to entertain themselves seeing who came in by ambulance after getting in a big fight, stabbed or shot.

:(

Thinking I have a good shot to replace Chancellor Everts at app!

Grayson Allen got $70m from the suns??

Why do good things always happen to bad people.

Dog friendly and child free…so it’s still irritating then?

Having to step over leashes and watching out for neglected dogs is not any less annoying than dodging the kids that are likely in some back area, if anywhere.

It's fine. You don't have to go to that pub. Kids running around a pub or brewery is an awful experience. Go to Chuck E. Cheese's or the pool !

Dogs at a brewery are better than kids, but only slightly, and only until some dumbass shows up with a 75-pound puppy with no chill who ruins everything.

Talk about a blanket statement. Small indoor Irish pub? Sure, 100%. Large brewery with 15,000+ sq foot outdoor space? Nah. Plenty of room to spread out and let the kids play.

just imagine the fury of biff sitting there sipping the tap pale ale wishing it was actually just an Ultra b/c the PA has too many calories and on top of all of that a bunch of children are running wild

It's fine if it's not crowded, but my experience has been that kids are not confined to running around in a certain portion of an outdoor space while their parents get drunk. It's typically more of a process of the kids playing for 10 minutes and then complaining about being hungry.

Maybe it’s because I have no kids but Utah not allowing kids at bars & breweries is nice imo

new belgium honestly set up perfect for kids, they're all out front for the most part in the giant yard area with lots of paths/etc for bikes while everyone hoping to avoid them hangs out on the back porch/balcony overlooking the river (much less kid friendly space back there)

But when we have kids, I’m sure my tone will change when it becomes a massive PITA to go have a drink

yeah that would suck big time if you had kids

i try to be pretty mindful of which breweries are appopriate for kids here when we go to one, so as not to annoy the non-kid-havers of the world

Yeah and you can bring chairs and blankets and have a dedicated space for your kids. My son likes running his cars along the walls and on those really bling tables they built next to the fire pits

Yeah, that's on 18 acres. Most microbreweries are on an acre or less.
