so i think shoving bamboo shoots under my fingernails would be more enjoyable than watching these games
 
I have to look in the mirror and tell myself to say calm because it is just april.
Cleveland has one of the best records in the league and I would not put money on them to be in the hunt in july.
IMO, they need to put Pedi at the top of the lineup and put CC 2nd. Ells needs to go to the bottom and provide a speed threat. Where is Kalish!? I think we need a young fiery player to slap some sense in this lifeless team.
I cannot take another disaster this year.....I will blow up!!!!
 
Pedroia doesnt want to bat first, crawford said he was okay with it. Also, where is Kalish gonna play they have plenty of outfielders. Kalish is in the minors until an injury or trade.

Oh itll be great, not to mention that its raining right now. Probably not enough to cancel, but enough to make this game even more miserable than i know its going to be.

CC will be alright. Early season struggles, stance is too open, and so forth. He will be fine.
 
Kalish is not the answer. The answer is for the pitching staff to get its shit together and get through the second inning without giving up a run. Look what has happened in the three games the team was not down after the second. A 2-1 record. The bottom line is the offense can relax. Each player can go through their motions without feeling like they need to juice a ball out of the park in order for the team to have a chance to win. When the hitters can relax, they rough up CC, one of the best pitchers in the league. Pitchers need to step up and earn the obscene amount of money they are getting paid.

I went out today sporting my Sox hat, and went to the liquor store where one of the cashiers (who I had only known in the last 2-3 years) claimed to be a Sox fan. I walked in and he looked at me and laughed, saying, "How can you still be wearing that thing?" He pointed to my hat, at which point I took it off, thinking I had inavertently put on my beat-to-hell pre-2000 cap, that in my defense has just been broken in. But no, it was my pristine hat my wife bought me last year after being embarrassed to see me in public wearing the other one. I glared at him, walked out, and bought my three-and-ten juice of forgetfulness and optimism elsewhere.
