NFL Playoffs Thread

Would love to see a Giants / Pats SB rematch. If not, I'd take a Niners / Ravens defensive slugfest.

The least intriguing matchup to me would be Niners / Patriots. For some reason I just see that as being another Denver-esque blowout by the Pats.

Last time the 49ers & Giants met in the NFC Championship was quite possibly the worst sports day of my life. 01/20/91...Leonard Marshall effectively ended Montana's career in SF and Roger Craig fumbled away the 3peat...

The Giants were great today. Eli, his receivers, and the Giants defense were on their game. The fumbles and drops by GreenBay were also helpful.

And one of the best days of mine. Fake punt to Gary Reasons!

LT had an important moment too

Where's that TAU guy who was giving my boy 2&2 shit for the ass whipping Atlanta was going to put on them?

The giants are a shit ass team that cant defend the pass worth of shit. If you go up to green bay, they will beat the ever living shit out of you. The Giants get so much friggin love for being mediocre it isn't even funny. I hope the falcons shit beat your overrated shit team.

this nostradamus?

this nostradamus?

More from him:
"Giants are shit. You were swept by the god damn Redskins, should have had another loss when Cruz just put the ball down in Arizona but no one wants to remember that. The Eagles should be the team representing the NFC East. If that call was made correctly, your sitting home bitching how bad Coughlin sucks and How Perry Fewell should be gone. Enjoy the ATL beat down your going to get."

Maybe he had a bad week or something because he was dishing out hate all over the place like two weeks ago and I don't think I'd ever noticed him as a poster prior to that.

My guess is he stepped on a scale for the first time in a long time and the first number was 2.

I can't root for a single team left. I wanted the opposite result for all 4 games this weekend. Baltimore is the team I hate the least so I guess I'll be the least upset if they win, but this sucks.

Their fans

This, although I believe Eagles fans are worse. Jets and Steeler fans too.

Outside of my Ravens, not much left to root for (and I recognize there are few Raven fans outside of Balmur). There is the game's biggest douchebag, Brady, or as Suggs calls him, God's Nephew, and the game's 2nd biggest douchebag, Belichick. Not fond of any NFCE team nor Coughlin in particular, but Eli has had his best year, and now that they are healthy, their DL is the best in the game. And Alex Smith deserves a SB ring less than Trent Dilfer. The Saints and Packers are my 2nd and 3rd favorite teams, so too bad they're out.

The Packers need to invest in some stickum next season.

I see a NE/NYG rematch. The combo of Eli and their D is too much for Smith, and I don't see Flacco and Cameron keeping up with Brady the way our O has played recently - extremely disgusted with our OL and Cam's play calling yesterday.

I don't care for the Patriots. This year reminds me of the latest Duke basketball championship. You think they are not that great, but then the road opens up so easy for them, they win the whole darn thing.

I'm fully expecting a Patriots-Niners Super Bowl, with Alex Smith choking his guts out on the big stage.
