Wake-State game thread

Love this neg rep I got

Yeah, CJ came in about 20 seconds of play later, played the rest of the game and ended up with 3 fouls. Bzzzz made the right call. A veteran guard with 3 fouls at under 12 minutes is a good call to leave in the game.

Agreed. Hes our team leader, he needs to play with three fouls.

Plus he is a guard, who is more likely to not pick up another foul. If he was a post player, then you probably have to sit him a few minutes, depending on the flow of the game.
 
He did. He got 20 seconds around a TO. No problem with that. I was referring to no need to sit him for any extended period of time.
 
Today was considerably better, State was just hitting shots when they needed to. The last two games have been well coached by Bzz IMO.
 
Holy cow. We finished playing a Big 4 rival 2 hours ago, and there hasn't been a comment on the game in almost an hour.

That term really doesn't apply to us now. We may consider them a rival but they don't see us that way.

for better or worse we're designated rivals now.

i hope we add 2 more teams and do a big 4 pod at this point.
 
Most every school in the conference would love to play us twice a year.

A ton of us do. We had a two page thread bitching about not having Wake as our final game as we always used to. I consider any B4 member a rival, except unc who I consider a scourge. :)

Frankly I have been impressed w/ the restraint shown by State fans. As much shit as WF fans have dished out about State over the last 20 years, most of you guys have honorably refrained from kicking us while we're down.
 
Just noticed an interesting stat- outside of Nikita, not one of our big guys(Walker, Desrosiers, Green or McKie) attempted a free throw. Weird.
 
You don't do that chant unless the school is your rival.
