Oh, brostep. It was started as a joke and is now just a sub-scene within dubstep. Just a more party feel to dubstep. More of the jumping around, "bro-ing out" feel. Still really is just dubstep.

And yes, Skrillex is the most mainstream of the dubstep artists but you gotta admit he makes some catchy stuff. He also always puts on a sick show.

Tiesto, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Afrojack, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Kaskade, David Guetta, etc. are all other pretty big names in the scene.

Add Diplo into that list. He is half of the group Major Lazer, pretty nice. I saw Diplo live at Ruby Skye when I was out in San Francisco this summer. Shit was dope.
