I'm really confused by what you consider a personal attack. I didn't call you a name or anything. But you absolutely posted a completely anonymous and unsubstantiated rumor on our recruiting thread you pulled from a comment on a blog post.

And you absolutely posted about how you wrote about recruiting and famous coaches read and trusted your opinions.

The fact is, those simply can't coexist. Well, not if you want to seem credible.
 
Just getting to this thread. It's like when you are a kid and your parents finally tell you Santa is not real. Yeah you expected it for some time, but you still held out some hope. Most all of us hoped Bzz would get fired, but I don't think anyone really thought it would happen this year. Basically, Ron Wellman just told us there is no Santa Claus.
 
I just woke up and read this... this is quite aggravating.

Fire them all. Start clean - someone needs to get the Board of Trustees fired up about the 12 people that show up to Men's Basketball Games.
 
Dc, is that really the best you can do? I've probably posted more recruiting content than anyone this side of Ish. I posted for years on DSpremium as a backbencher sunshine guy without ever making a negative post about Odom,Skip,Grobe,Lobo,Ron or anyone. This Bz hiring has changed 35 years of loyalty because it was wrong on so many levels.
 
Fuck, just met Chill in Benson, and I was too starstruck to say anything. I just grinned like a dumbass and said "Hey". I don't have anything for him to autograph either. Fuck.

edit: Found my Duke ticket in my car, and got an autograph FTW!

There were teams with better NBA talent that didn't fare much better. This is a tired argument.
 
Doesn't Pitt and some other teams have a banner for their #1 rankings? We should look into that.

Can everyone agree that keeping Dino one more year, letting him fail, firing him and then hiring a reputable non-loser coach with a completely new staff would have been the best course of action?

Examples? How many teams had 3 years of that much NBA talent and managed one postseason win? Seriously curious, maybe it's more than I thought.
 
I already brought up Kansas in '05, '06. So J.R. Giddens, Keith Langford, Aaron Miles, Wayne Simien, Mario Chalmers, Brandon Rush, Julian Wright, Darnell Jackson, Sasha Kaun

The 2010 Kansas team was even more talented and lost to Northern Iowa in the 2nd round.

Totally understand that. I was a premium member for a while - I don't remember you being one of the top 2 posters of recruiting info but you certainly posted plenty of good stuff.

You can be as defensive and antagonistic as you want. Bottom line is even if you admit you've lost the ability to be objective where [Redacted] is concerned, I don't think the ends justify the means for perpetuating rumors that a recruit is considering backing out on Wake Forest. Especially from a poster trading on, as you say above, your history of having good recruiting info.

You even admitted on the thread that you had zero additional support that Devin was considering backing out on us and you were just repeating the anonymous comment.

I never said to stop posting your opinions, but that kind of thing is crossing the line in my opinion. Post whatever you want, that's just my 2 cents. Done arguing with you.
