Anyone who likes Pulp may like this cover of Disco 2000. When I saw Slow Club here in Chicago, they opened their show with it. Great, great rendition.

Edit: really, just see the below footage. It's a different show than the one I was at, but it's a much better video.

They transition to a different song half way through. The Pulp cover is the first song... obviously

What do you guys think about Kasabian?

They seemed pretty good.

They were.... in like 2005.

Where/when did you see them RJ? They put out a nice debut album a long time ago, and they've put out some pretty terrible stuff since then.

I saw them last night on an English TV show. Then I listened to a couple of cuts from 2009 or so.

Ok so I know there are only a couple people who probably care at all, but I posted last week that I am thinking of doing a little thread on experimental music. Quick poll, would you be more interested in seeing this or the other project I've been working on, my top 50 albums of 2000-2009?

Seems to be consensus on the chat thread as well. Working towards a Friday post. Cheers.

At the last Atlas Sound concert, Bradford Cox was buzzed and feeling weird, so when someone in the crowd yelled My Sharona, he did an awkward free-form hour long version of the tune out of spite and altness.

Story

Thoughts on this story? I think it's weird.

Bradford Cox the person is the worst. He might be the single most convincing piece of evidence that ATL is a city in decline. And he is super talented, which makes it even worse.

Not sure if you ever heard his SiriusXMU interview with Jenny Eliscu, but he just rambled for an hour with all this woe is me nonsense, making up half the stories.

That poor drummer...
