So, who transfers? Chennault, Desrosiers, and Fields...

PG: CMM 30 Rountree 10
SG: CJ 33 Chase 7
SF: Travis 13 Moto 15 Chase 8 Rountree 4
PF: Travis 20 Cav 15 Green 5
C: Thomas 25 Washington 15

Travis 33
CJ 33
CMM 30
Thomas 25
Chase 15
Moto 15
Cavanaugh 15
Washington 15
Rountree 14
Green 5

A raw 6-8 PG would get his pocket picked on the regular. Just for shits and giggles:

PG: CMM 30, CJ 10
SG: CJ 25, Chase 15
SF: Moto 20, Rountree 15, Chase 5
PF: McKie 30, Cav 10
C: Thomas 25, Green 10, Washington 5

Ugh.

Rountree could still play the 2 though. No way three guys get all the minutes at the two guard positions.

Thread on other board is a result of the thread here. Nothing new over there.

Sort of. There's a different poster there who has basically said the same as Icker here. i.e. it's going to get worse.

I remember Skip saying when he took over that the players on the team hnad a lot of experience, but that it wasn't "good" experience. I think these players would kill for the experience that Robert O'Kelly had at Wake right now.

O'Kelley graduated before Skip took over. I will never forget after our last loss to Duke, ESPN noted that the WF seniors had never beaten Duke. That sucked.

Wait until 2 years from now when they talk about our seniors never beating another big 4 team.

How has Icker not gotten more flak for that ridiculous post. I just wasted 10 minutes reading 7 pages.

seriously...at this point, he deserves the private pyle soap-in-the-pillowcase treatment.

Our senior next year will have never beaten Duke.

Can someone give a quick roundup of whether we know anything? A page 15 game reset?

I understand that logic. However, one of those players is our best player. The other is our only other experienced guard. The third is our most heralded freshman. It's not unusual to have a three guard rotation like this. For example, Paul, Gray, and Taron played all the minutes at PG and SG and even played some minutes with all three on the floor.

What really sucks about this situation is that when Duke and UNC-CH had their down or rebuilding period, it was one freaking year and they had McDonald's All-Americans on the team. We're entering year three of a period that looked like Maryland or Wake in the late '80's or State in the early 90's. This could be a lost decade for us.

Rumors of Carson and Fields Xfering. Discussions of likely intramural post players we might be targeting.

Agreed, Petter. And you can't just recruit your way out of that kind of mess.

Yeah, I know. O'Kelly had four years of what Skip termed as "bad" experience.
