Mafia Legends Game Thread - Mafia Wins

It is funny - the silent ones always go unnoticed, and I'd put BDZ, TR, Sleepy and NH in that category this game (NoVa some too). The cits who are actually talking get so obsessed with picking everything they're saying apart that the quiet ones never get brought into the discussion.

After day 1, we knew I was either going to be investigated rather soon or killed night 1. Figured we'd try to use that then to create as much confusion early on as possible, as well as set up Phan to be clear later on when I'm revealed to be mafia.

I was pretty sure I'd be able to survive at least one more night, simply by claiming to be the vig and if necessary, telling people I would make my vig kill on a person to prove I was the vig. When I could survive that night w/o pressure, I just stayed away from the thread as to not be forced into DV7's plan (which is what we assumed people would make me do). Had I survived that night, I was going to purposely stay away from the thread the entire day, allowing me an extra day the next day to which I would prove my worth, all while Phan would keep a vendetta against me.

We considered the killing of dv7 (by aiming for dadeacs) to be a success as there was no doubt I'd eventually be killed from an investigation, so it's quite beneficial to learn who the two BGs are, or at least have killed one. Definite accident by Phan for mentioning DaDeacs being the target but silly civs just let it slide.

Didn't help I wasn't able to enter the chatzy lair while at work.

Seriously, dude? You were horrible in the one day you were alive. You make the game almost unbearable, and probably a reason why many veteran players don't play nearly as often.

What I took from this game is that no matter if I'm a civ or mafia, I am voting for Knight round 1 because it makes the game more enjoyable.

It was rough trying to find the godfather...I started with a 1 in 32 chance or something.

I was hoping the mafia had the cop narrowed down to myself and isle based on our posts and that the civs would go back and look at who we were pushing, but that transcript makes the hit look pretty random....fucking tr
 
DaDeacs played well. Isle shit the bed, he might have found mafia but I don't think it's a great idea for the cop to come in and make proclamations about breaking ties right at the end of the round. I thought Boom played really well and Wake4 did well too.
 
The lesson was that we were stuck with a bunch of junk at the end and many of us are rusty as hell. And I remembered why I stopped playing at work.

Yeah this is definitely true...it took like 4 days to get back in the swing of things.

Sorry I posted so much and cluttered up the thread with inane theories and the like.

The hit wasn't random. They had it narrowed down to you and isle. Definitely targeted.

I also thought Diego was the cop. It was him or JDawg in my mind.

I should have pushed harder for the people I thought were mafia. Here were my picks...it was a tough job:
