psh. slavery still exists in brooklyn, it just isn't institutionalized. there are definitely pimps who are holding girls as sex slaves and people holding illegal immigrants in slavery conditions. it happens all over the world.

Not to mention that the Russian mafia is very active in Southern Brooklyn. Not that there's anything wrong with holding girls as sex slaves. I mean, it don't make any difference to me what a man does for a living, you understand.
 
How does Colbert continue to get representatives to sit for those interviews? You can tell from the look on his face that he can't believe she is saying that, and just decided to go with it, throwing out whatever he had intended to ask her.

You're right they aren't in your home state of MS. Ask Medgar Evers? How about Goodman et al? How about the CCC?

Or the fucking Italian neighborhoods, or the Polish, or the Russian, or German? Try expanding your view beyond ethnicity and noticing the two things these cultures had in common- poverty and high-density living areas. Ethnic groups in those situations always have issues with other groups.
 
He's probably talking about the carpetbaggers who come down to Mississippi and force things like integration, education, vaccines, and indoor plumbing.:rimshot:
