Pit Fashion Thread

lol - I love how I've got 2 tags dedicated to me and I haven't even posted in this thread yet. Making a fool out of myself is something I do regularly, so I'm not sure I can disagree with that one at all.

For the guys - Allen Edmonds is having a "Rediscover America" sale right now through October 9th. They make great, classic shoes at reasonable prices and they are an American institution. If you're looking for a new pair of shoes or boots, it's worth checking them out right now.

Their 5th Avenue model for $229 is about as good a deal as you'll ever see on a pair of shoes that will last you a decade or more.

I picked these Allen Edmonds wingtips up about a month ago. AE shoes are a little more narrow than a lot of brands.

I left a pair of AE Steens at the gym a couple months ago and still pissed about it
 
Check out Blake at the end of this clip. rolled up pants. Same with CP3 on the cover. Will this happen? Is anyone doing this yet?

 
Also, I either saw (or noticed) my first fishing shirt this past week, remembering that fedora or fishing shirt douche thread.
 
I can't possibly see myself ever doing this rolled up pants thing. I'd need to buy loafers and go sockless and I don't see that happening.
 
I need to stop looking into this fashion thing. Just read something that said men with shorts and tights is in now. The internet is a dangerous place. The fuck is this. The second one is the only one I'd even wear on a dare.

You rarely ever translate runway fashion directly to street fashion, palma. They just are there for ideas/inspiration.

I have a friend in law school who does it. I make fun of him for it. When people try to get crap like this popular my reaction is usually along these lines...

On the flipside, the dress shirt, tie, sweater, coat look is pretty fuckin fly. Just trying to think of what situation I'd want to be in with that many layers in this climate
 
I like the Allen Edmonds shoes, but I'm a Cole Haan shoe guy. I'm loyal like that. They all fit me well, so it's easy to keep buying the same thing.
 
Last question: Anyone have good advice on how to shrink some shrink-to-fit denim? I've heard you just fill a tub with water and get in with your jeans on.

Any better advice? Do's and don'ts? Any way I can ruin them?
