Nice post, was going to post something similar. If the season ended today, I think he should come back for another year to figure out what went wrong. His draft potential is doing nothing now but going down.

Hate to admit it , but I'm a little concerned about Kurtz. Seems like he is either in a prolonged slump like he was at the beginning of the year and the last 4 games or hot as hell like he was a few games ago. Would love to see him a little more consistent.

Great info, thanks. Kind of reinforces my thoughts that the biggest difference between this year's team and last year's is pitching, both starting and the bullpen. We have really been blessed with good pitching over the past few years.

Totally agree, as I said on a previous thread it's going to be a lot harder to get someone better. He had only 0ne year at this level and no doubt would continue to improve. Heck everyone of our players had a few bad games.

Totally agree. If they didn't, the most talented in the world playing a 48 minute game with a 24 second clock a team would score 150 or more points every game.

Still don't know why we keep starting a enter fielder that can't hit .200.

Just my 2 cents here but I'm for giving Walter a break here. He has taken us further in the NCAA'S than any of our other coaches. I don't know how you can blame him for the fact that our returning players predicated to be high draft choices have absolutely failed to deliver, maybe they were busy...

I truly hope we get an elite pg. I may be a minority of one, but I think Boopie did quite well in his 1st. season at this level. Had some good games and some not so good games, but who on our team didn't. With 2 more years to develop I think he would be quite a factor. Don't know why he left...

I'm a little concerned about Parker. I thought he gave us some good minutes and was actually a pretty complete player. However ahe was 0 for 8 shooting his last 2 games, including 0 for 6 in the only game he started. Hope that was aberration.

I have to agree, he did nothing at UNC. Don't know why we took him.

I'll answer your comment the same way I did on another thread. Look at our home court record and the sell out for the Duke game. As i recall, we had no problems filling the Joel in the late 90's and the early 2000's. Get a winning program and they will come. Would rather have a few more seats...
