    Think that's a Republican thing? :) Let me introduce you to the glory of our state Democrats, the NC 12th Congressional district -- 160 miles long and in some places no wider than 200 feet. Easily found when you search for "most gerrymandered districts".

    According to http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jun/06/us-tech-giants-nsa-data, at least some of them are as recent as April, 2013. Note the one that lists "Current Providers" (Microsoft, Google, etc.) and "What You Will Receive In Collection". Pretty sure it was implemented.
