    The Masters 2024

Family lives in Augusta and the ANGC continues to gobble up land to expand their footprint. The rumor is that the acquisitions are to first build a dedicated interchange he at I-20 that would take patrons straight on the grounds to avoid the Washington Road sprawl, and the other is to build...

Conference Expansion: Stanford, California and SMU Join the ACC

I'm coming around more to this idea. Throw resources at MBB and WBB.

Conference Expansion: Stanford, California and SMU Join the ACC

Maybe long term, but I think they have to keep up the appearance of letting everyone have a spot at the table or risk losing interest from large swaths of the country. I'm a huge college football fan but my interest is waning with NIL, the portal-john, and realignment. I can't say I'd have more...

Conference Expansion: Stanford, California and SMU Join the ACC

We'll still be in the ACC when realignment shakes out. Albeit a much different ACC that will likely be a Group of 5 level conference. I think the SEC and Big 10 plan is to do what they can to relegate the ACC and Big 12 to the Group of 5 so they can control 12-14 slots in a 16 team playoff...

Conference Expansion: Stanford, California and SMU Join the ACC

Watching UNC get drubbed on the gridiron week after week in the SEC would be worth seeing them leave. Here's your check from Greg Stankey...now do your best Vandy imitation.

Conference Expansion: Stanford, California and SMU Join the ACC

They will when there ain't no more SEC and Big Whatever. The big players aren't going to want to keep splitting the pie with the low contributors. I think we end up with a college football landscape that looks something like the English football league concept with 4 or 5 tiers. I'm hoping we...

Conference Expansion: Stanford, California and SMU Join the ACC

No chance in hell. No way the SEC wants any more Vandys and the Big 10 already has 3 or 4 programs they'd like to jettison. Some of those schools are going to get kicked to the curb with us when some type of football super league shakes out with a single tv contract and no conferences.

But Iowa, Rutgers, Maryland, UCLA, Purdue sounds awesome

Conference Expansion: Stanford, California and SMU Join the ACC

And that's exactly why I think an English soccer model is eventually coming.
