We go up to visit my inlaws outside Cleveland every Thanksgiving. They still talk about it to this day up there. I heard stories of Lake Effect snow and the storms of November, but had no appreciation for it until a few years back. Thanksgiving day we were wearing shorts and temps were in the mid 60s. The next morning we awoke to 4" of snow on the ground, in the 20s and wind blowing sideways.

Discovery Channel documentary from the 90s I remember watching as a kid on the wreck. Interesting theories, other background on the ship. Makes me miss the old Discovery Channel
