Did a couple of boxed in trifectas with 2-8-10-18 & also 3-8-12-18 just to have some fun. Did well with these when at Churchill Downs for the Wake-Louisville game last September. Gives you 4 horses for the top 3 spots. My understanding is you can actually pick up to 5?
Usually a minimum of $1 so that would be $24 each the way I did it.

El Kabeir, the horse from Dubai could be scratched due to a bad hoof.

8 & 18 are favorites--Dortmund and Pharoah and are Baffert horses
2 & 3 are also up there--Carpe Diem & Materiality are Pletcher horses
10--Firing Line is ridden by Gary Stevens
18--Pharoah is ridden by Espinoza

Really good day with several boxed in trifectas that had the 8-10-18 horses. Carpe Diem did not fare well but having Firing Line helped to up the odds in there. Costs more to take 4 or 5 but it is sometimes worth it.
