'17 Specials & '18 Midterms Thread

BKF likes to talk about millenials being poster children for “entitled” kids.

Meanwhile, he’s the poster child for the GOP: fear, anger, and resentment. He’s the spider man meme, personified.

Not to mention he was an entitled kid.

Uh-oh. Looks like the 2020 census could be more bad news for Welfare State Democrats. Looks like the people who are having to pay for all the Democrats' giveaway programs are getting tired of it. You had to know this was coming.

"States with high taxes are at risk of losing people, business and money. In fact, conservative economists Arthur Laffer and Stephen Moore argue that up to 1.3 million people will leave California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Minnesota and New York over the next three years and move to states with lower taxes.

With state deductions now capped at $10,000, the cost of living in states such as California and New York – where state taxes are notoriously high – is increasing substantially. This has the potential to lead both middle-class families, and even the wealthy, to begin questioning whether it is time to move to a more tax-friendly state.

This means potentially bad news for Democrats, as solid blue states are generally those with the highest state taxes. If they lose enough people, these states will eventually get fewer seats in the House of Representatives and fewer votes in the Electoral College, which determines who is elected as president.

The impact of tax migration is palpable and will only become more so, as states with no income tax are experiencing a notable growth in population. Florida is expected to gain two electoral votes, while Texas is expected to gain as many as three. At the same time, both California and New York are expected to lose one electoral vote each."

LOL at that one. BKF's dad never made more than $7,500/year as a blue-collar machinist. He never had a car during the four years at WF, thumbing back & forth on I-40 when he went home for the weekend....and had less than $10 in his pocket more than 90% of the time he was there. When he graduated, he had to get a job & go to work immediately. He could not keep going to school and partying for 4 or 5 more years.

So you have no excuse for turning into a douchebag. We expected bigger things out of your generation than sitting around posting on a message board .

And yet, by bkf's own (accidental) admission, he also inherited his father-in-law's company at the tender age of 26, thus giving him a handsome salary and steady career for life, thus making him the definition of an entitled adult. He also inherited his father-in-law's home. Do you know how many people would have loved to have those kinds of advantages when they were in their twenties, and just starting out in a career? That admission also undermines everything you just posted, as it's clear that your success in life wasn't the result of some Horatio Alger, poor-boy-done good story, but mostly the result of marrying well.

I also know plenty of college students today that work like dogs while they're in college, yet given modern tuition that still doesn't pay their bills. Not that you'll listen, but you have an extremely skewed, narrow, and unrealistic view of college students today. The "entitled spoiled brat" kids you keep bitching about have always existed, in nearly every major college or university, since at least the start of the twentieth century. They're not exclusive to Millennials, no matter how much you say it. And, I'll say it again, given that you hate everyone here, why do you keep posting, bob? It's an inadvertent admission that you simply have nothing better to do, as well as real anger issues. Or, that you're just a troll who has nothing better to do than stir up crap here. Either way, it's kind of pitiful, really.

I'm glad they released that ad late in June so that we don't have to wait too long to see how much money it helps raise. As of 5/2 she had $117K on hand.

More on Mike Huckabee's racist tweet:

It’s sad that your life is so empty that you get your rocks off referring to yourself in the third person.

How much did you make a year at the job gifted to you by your child bride’s father?

ETA: ...before you killed him and inherited the business that he built.

MS-13 originated in the US. Many of them are real Americans. Are we getting to the point where Republicans will try to deport American citizens?

People are saying BKF killed his father in law. I have seen that BKF has denied it.

Should a felon serve in the House? That’s the question for Staten Island Republicans.

Already, Grimm and Donovan have competed to out-Trump each other.

After a Tuesday campaign stop, Grimm said an audio tape of migrant children wailing in a federal detention facility should not influence the debate over immigration policy.

“A woman has to go to work, and her child at day care, and you’re going to hear those same exact things,” Grimm said.

Donovan, who once cautioned that border security would not mean “a 2,000-mile, 15-foot brick wall,” also has begun to sound more like the president.

“Build that wall!” he said at the Saturday rally, picking up a chant from the crowd. “Build that damn wall!”

Trump’s former communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, campaigned with Grimm. The president’s personal lawyer, former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, campaigned for Donovan.

I'm going to be sad when this race is over.

The incredibly dumb Democrats are blowing another election. Keep Maxine Waters on national television telling people to harass opponents in restaurants & theatres and see how that plays out in November. One big reason why Trump won was that nobody anticipated the record surge of white working class voters. Well, the dumb actions of people like Maxine Waters & others calling for these ridiculous protests are making sure that those same voters will be there again. The rage & anger from Democrats manifested in this manner has negated any "enthusiasm" advantage that they may have had at one time. Just really, really dumb.

One year ago this week, the late Charles Krauthammer commented on the Democratic Party's "resistance" movement and what it could mean for President Trump going into the 2018 elections. Bret Baier said Monday on Special Report that Krauthammer's words are still relevant, in light of a speech by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), wherein she called on people to confront Trump cabinet members in public places out of protest.

"They don't have a message," Krauthammer said of the "resistance" movement in June 2017. "This is the same reason that Hillary lost."

"Why do they want to win the House [of Representatives]? For one reason," he said. "Not for tax reform, not for jobs. They want to win so they can start impeaching the president." Krauthammer said that, at the time, some Democrats' messages appeared to be "undoing the election of 2016." He called the idea the Democrats' "biggest mistake" and "not a worthy cause."

Just stop. You Trumpists lost the ability to take the high road when you unabashedly supported a candidate who acts like a 13-year old on a daily basis.

This thread = truth

BKF - take note and educate yourself. You are one of the biggest bullies on this board. Pay close attention to the very last tweet.

I mean are you a bully if you fuck and underage girl? Are you a bully if you murder your father in law? Just wondering for that guy bkf.

Not to mention the fact that bob, having turned his back on the Democratic Party, now wants to see that party destroyed and its supporters ruined, yet he constantly posts on here about all of the stupid mistakes that the Democrats are doing that will lead to that destruction. So, he's warning against the presumed destruction of something that he also states he wants destroyed. Typical bkf logic there. And, if he's trying to warn people here to change course, it's also absurd, because 1) no one here controls the Democratic Party. If bob wants the Democrats to change course, he needs to contact the DNC, not the posters here, and 2) he seems to be trying, in his own hateful little way, to save the thing that he also says he wants to see ruined and devastated. And that's without noting that his obnoxious, angry, foam-at-the-mouth posting style has driven away everyone that he claims to be trying to educate. Not a good way of warning people, bob. A strange man. Or, just a troll.
