I said in an attempt to gain an advantage. I didn’t say all Native Americans get into Harvard. I didn’t say she wouldn’t become a Senator without that lie. I especially didn’t say that Native Americans have an advantage in our society.

And wow. Authenticate her heritage. It’s kind of amazing she never owned or encountered a fucking mirror all those years. That’s all the authentication required.

What isn’t true about it? Native Americans themselves said the offensive part was attaching heritage without being recognized as part of a specific tribe. There are multiple articles about this issue out today in light of her speech yesterday.

Stop digging. Jesus. Why are you dying on this hill. It’s clearly insensitive to native Americans. You acknowledged this. Therefore it is racist.

Hey using “gay” as a negative connotation isn’t homophobic or offensive because it doesn’t include express reference to superiority. Y’all are biased against homosexuals because this provides evidence that you think being gay is in fact negative compared to being straight.

Didn’t she change it after she was already on staff as a professor? Again I’m not saying she was right in all of this but to say it has been blown out of proportion may be the understatement of the decade. The right used this as carte blanche to call her Pocahontas, make mock Native American calls at Donald’s rallies and discredit/undermine her substantive fiscal policy plans.
