2020 Democratic Presidential Nominees

Just kinda underscores how absurdly on message he's stayed for like 50 years.
 
If the DNC doesn't play an ad Trump saying cutting Social Security and Medicare would be easy fives times as often as beer and Viagra ads combined in PA, FL, AZ, MI, NC, WI, IA and OH, they are MORONS. This is an easy hit in states with older populations who vote at a high percentage.

I'm guessing they won't do it.

ALL the nominees need to have a kumbaya moment at the next debate to say this. In fact, a lower candidate who brings this up as a major issue and asks the others to join him/her making this the central issue of the campaign could dramatically increase his/her chances to win.

They need to spend millions hitting this issue NOW! Start playing Trump saying it in EVERY battleground state and every Senate battleground. The reason Trump is successful in branding is he says the same thing early and often. The Dems need to have the common sense and balls to do this EVERY DAY until the election.

Every candidate needs to say, "VOTE FOR ME, I'LL PROTECT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY & MEDICARE FROM DONALD TRUMP!"

I doubt any of them have sense or cajones to do this in spite of it being easy, obvious and a winning stance to take.

It drives me nuts that a quote or position from years ago is brought out to hammer a candidate and they deflect and bs around it. I would much rather someone say "yes. I said that. I was wrong then and have listened and have a better understanding and new opinion about xyz."
 
Bernie is a multi millionaire, why is he incapable of dry cleaning and pressing his clothes? Sloppy.
 
rereading the way the tweet itself frames the story is pretty disgusting. there's a weird syntax/subject operation at work right in the tweet - as if the story isn't the usage of "slavery" but rather some effect that will be generated as a result of their reporting.

However, the 18 election did disprove part of your thesis. Millions of people who voted for Trump changed the House and state governments. Tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions, need to be spent in swing states hammering Trump on healthcare. This is an issue that will change votes. Showing him saying he'd protect pre-existing conditions needs to split-screened with the DOJ trying to kill ACA in court.

There needs to be a few platoons of social media teams. The more attacks on him. The more likely he will lose it and go crazy on Twitter and other social media.

The Dems will show their weakness again by not spending tens of millions on GOTV in black and Hispanic communities to create the largest minority turnout in US history. It is critical for our society to get rid of Trump.

Happy to help. I felt that I owed it to my internet Bros to let them know that I've swayed my views on my vote. If it's Bernie v Trunp I won't vote.
