The Constitution prohibits direct taxes that are not apportioned by population, except for the income tax which is allowed by the 16th Amendment. There is only very old precedent on point and the Supreme Court has attempted to find ways to make taxes constitutional (e.g., estate and gift taxes are a tax on the transfer of property, not directly on the property itself), but the arguments that a wealth tax is not a direct tax seem like pretty big stretches to me.
 
It is good to see that the socially liberal/fiscal conservatives finally get their own candidate - a ridiculous billionaire oligarch threatening to split the vote and re-elect Trump rather than have his taxes raised. A walking representative of yuppie corporate economic blackmail.

the Dem primary in 2020 is shaping up to be the apology tour primary, which would be fine, if they were apologizing for the right things, but being donkeys, they probably can't get that right either
