WF should have more on Third Team. That is where they're off the most.
 
Bothroyd is the biggest snub to me, he made a lot of plays.
 
Pitt has 9 defensive players that received All-ACC recognition of some form. Guess that WF gameplan should focus on attacking the other 2.
 
pretty crazy that Sam Howell and Devin Leary did not make 1,2, or 3rd team All ACC considering both of them had pretty stellar years. QB is loaded in the ACC this year.

Tough to argue with much of it. While Sam's year was amazing, so was Kenny's. I understand not having a Wake defender on the first team. I could argue Vilain being 3rd team, should have at least been honorable mention.

All-ACC defensive linemen should have some ability to play run defense.

Bryan Bresee played in 4 games and had 13 tackles, yet he made third team. You can even say Vilain was more impactful than Marcus Valdez at BC. At that point though we are splitting hairs. Vilain and Mustapha are two impactful transfers who I look forward to watching for a couple more years. Plenty of opportunity for both of them to earn ACC honors.

Oh, it's a fucking embarrassment that Bresee was even on the ballot. That shit pissed me off twofold: One that he was on there, and two because you just knew he'd get enough votes from people who didn't pay attention and just figured, "oh, Clemson's defense was good, Bresee is their best DL, that's who I'm voting for."
 
Interesting that Hartman got 2nd team QB but Armstrong got more votes than him for POY and OPOY. Sam has more passing TDs (34 vs 31) and Armstrong has no rushing TDs (Sam has 10).

That's pretty ridiculous given that Hartman dominated UVA on UVA's field, Armstrong missed games with injury and WF won 10 games while UVA won 6. Like Armstrong, but if you match up the two, Hartman has the clear edge for POY for the ACC.
 
UVA and BC had 6 offensive selections, each, among the first three teams (Pitt had 7)

WF had 5
 
Nice that 9 of 14 starting centers can say they got all-ACC honors... Talk about a participation trophy.

Also, another sign that the Atlantic is still significantly outpacing the Coastal division.
 
Believe that Clawson will get the ACC COY tomorrow.
