2022 Atlanta Braves Season Thread: off season decisions loom

Atlanta has no answer for either Buehler/Kershaw/Ryu or Scherzer/Strasburg/Corbin. Somehow the Nationals began the season 19-31. This a far different Washington club now.

Well they did win 3/4 in that series last month to slam the door on the Nats right? So it’s been done.

The first time we played the Nats this year was 05/28 and we went 11-8 against them, and they had the worst bullpen in the NL this year. Continue being negative if you want though.

Oh pleassseeeee. Braves would roll by the Nats without blinking. Braves started out slow as well and ended with better record as well as took the lasts 5 of 7 from the Nats in Sept. when Nats knew they had to desperately win and Braves were in cruise control and didn't have much to play for outside a very remote chance to catch Dodgers.

Braves roll in that series....

Most runs given up in the first inning in MLB post-season history?

I genuinely may never watch sports again. Jesus Christ.

Freeman's nightmare series continues. Maybe add another 2-3 strikeouts to go with it.

Let the Cards in in 2011. Now this. Fuck you guys

As an FYI, the most runs scored by one team in an MLB post-season game is 23.

Soroka pitching once in this series was just a tremendous game plan. Braves were good enough to win this series even with the middle of their order collapsing but they'd rather start the dollar signs over the talent.

That will definitely be the story. Pitching your only all star for one game is looking dumb over a clearly struggling Keuchel.

Guarantee u it doesn’t happen next year.
