2023 Atlanta Braves Season Thread: wheelin & dealin

Tough matchup. Short series. High variability sport. Can't have the bats do absolutely nothing and expect to advance.

AA is one of best in biz and has worked magic to make Bravos a juggernaut for years to come, but not getting elite pitching arms by trade deadline was a big whiff.

Can’t win if you don’t score. They have zero runs through 14 inning (and are getting no hit right now).

They’re about to hand Strider and Fried Ls dude.

You’d think something would give sometime this game

Yeah, pitching hasn't been the problem in this series. Obviously Fried had an off night but we've got to score to win. Now, you'd like to have a reliable 3rd starter so that there was some semblance of hope going on the road to Philly in Game 3, but no one could have predicted the Morton injury.

Strider is great at strikeouts but near a 4 era and should never be your game 1 starter In postseason. Fried has been struggling with injuries all year and knew a risk and we effectively have no #3 starter And no mid relief. we are running on major fumes and very predictable outcome Unfortunately.

Alright - this is who we want up in the next two innings. Let’s go boys.
