The wife and I are expecting our first child, a little girl, this coming April! I know it's probably not the best idea for her to grow up a Deacon fan, but I can't bring myself to allow anything else!

I was so confused by this thread, because I never saw the resolution to the one on the Pit. Then I went back and checked and all became clear. In any case, congrats!
 
Start cutting out those diaper coupons in the sunday paper, you'll use every one of them. Congrats.
 
Oh and at some point she'll pull for Duke or UNC just to troll you.
 
Congrats Phons! Our first came about a month ago. It will be the greatest thing to ever happen in your life. Sleep now while you can.
 
Ours came Saturday night. It's fucking awesome. You'll never be so happy to be broke and sleepless.

I put our daughter in a wake onesie in the hospital and apologized.
