I'm travelling to Albuquerque next week for work. Will be there 2 nights. Where should I stay and where should I eat? Any bars, casinos, etc I shouldn't miss?

Thanks in advance.

Well, they say that Santa Fe is less than 90 miles away, if you've got time to roll a number and rent a car.

You definitely need to eat at Pollos Hermanos. Their chicken is awesome. It'll blow you away.

And I'm gonna get my rental car washed at Skylar's Car Wash.

Don't think I'll have time to make it to Santa Fe, unfortunately.

Casinos kinda suck.

The tram to the top of the Sandias, just outside the city, is well worth it, although it may be rather cold.

Get Christmas style whenever you can. New Mexican cuisine is basically defined by the fact that everyone serves red and green chile. xmas is both. I'm a fan of Dos Hermanos but it's been several years since I have been down there.

Blakes LOTABURGER (no different than any fastfood place TBO, but I have to hit it when I am back there - Green Chile Burger)

The Tram is a good time, but yeah it could be cold.

My dad's family is from there and we always stayed at the same hotel when we visited and it had by far the best breakfast at a hotel of all time. I will try to get that name for you. I really enjoy Albuquerque as I am a fan of the mountains, so if you have time to just go exploring it's pretty neat.

Definitely be ready for lots of chile

Green chile FTW.

I have never been so cold in my life as the time I was skiing at Sandia and the chairlift to the top stopped for about 5-10 min (seemed more like 30 min). The wind was raicing down off the top of the mountain and into every pore of my body.

I could eat every meal for the rest of my life at Frontier. Also check out StreetFood Asia, just a mile or two down the street from Frontier. I think it's pretty new. My wife and I enjoyed it this past summer. I've never had so many whole red chiles in my food before.

So you should stop when you can, find some fried eggs and country ham. Find somewhere where they don't care who you are.
