Who cares if they were successful? Manning was dog shit. It would’ve shown our AD cares about winning and drawn some fans back. We could’ve actually had fun and celebrated the wins and gotten emotionally connected to the players. Instead, any success was bittersweet and had an air of dread about Manning coming back.

Once it was announced he was coming back, there was no recourse. What aren't you understanding?
 
I don't want to have to worry about some garbage interim coach going on a lucky win streak and keeping the job and then screwing it up for another 4 years. I want the next head coach to be someone who has tournament success, can recruit well, and isn't 3 years from being an octogenarian.
 
Interim = place holder. They know it. We know it. Certainly not the best idea but making someone interim last year would have given us the same crappy season with an entire year without coronavirus to recruit the new guy. Even bring him around whatever is left of the team if it's a matta type that was not coaching this season.

Anyway, we are where we are. Almost checked out.
 
Currie's twitter has a picture of The Quad with two or three people on it. Let him, that would be a large Deacon crowd if Danny is back.
